Hi guys! Today I’m going to show you just how versatile the Boucleme Curl Defining Gel can be with
4 cool ways that I personally use it!
Curl enhancer for flawless wash and goes
The Curl Defining Gel is the final product I use for my Wash-and-Go hairstyle. After washing and conditioning, I apply the Curl Cream and then take a few pumps of gel and smooth it over my hair whilst it’s still quite wet using the praying hands method. This smooths down the cuticles of your hair reducing frizz whilst drying.
Your hair should feel quite slimy. Gross feeling but it works wonders. Scrunch it in gently.
Air dry or plop your hair.
Once dry, I scrunch my hair again to break the gel cast and massage the roots with my fingers to create some volume.
Voila! Defined shiny soft curls without any flaking.
Refreshed to awaken day 2 or 3 curls
When my curls have lost definition I dampen them using a spray bottle of water and then use a small amount of the Curl Defining gel to smooth over the sad curls. Smooth the gel in a downwards motion to flatten the cuticle reducing any frizz.
Smooth out fly aways for slicked back hairstyles
For slicked back hairstyles, I dampen my hair and brush it through using a comb.
It doesn’t take much gel once my hair is damp to keep my hair slick. So I use the Curl Defining Gel with a toothbrush (designated purely for my hair LOL) to smooth back any stubborn areas.
Perfect for dirty hair.
For styling – adds slip to create braids, bantu knots, buns and more.
Creating braids and buns on stubborn curly hair can be a struggle. I dampen my hair as much as I can without my hair being dripping wet and coat it in the Curl Defining Gel.
It will almost act like a detangler creating enough slip so you can finger detangle or comb through your hair creating a tangle free base for your braids, bantu knots, buns and more. It will also give them hold.
