Hi guys. Today I’m talking skincare supplements and more specifically Advanced Nutrition Programme Supplements. I was kindly sent some skincare supplements to try out; I got the Skin Vitality 2 blister strips, Skin Accumax, and Skin Vit C. These 3 combined really improved the condition of my skin. Generally it maintained the health of my skin well. I still have some Skin Vit C and Skin Accumax left but I am thinking of repurchasing the blister packs because I feel like that made the most difference.
Skin Vitality 2
I adored the Skin Vitality 2 Blister packs because they were so convenient for travelling. Each days worth of supplements is individually packaged so you can just tear away the blister packs and take them with you. This includes 4 supplements; a multivitamin and mineral, antioxidant complex, vitamin C with black elderberry and bilberry extracts and omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, vitamins A & C, riboflavin and zinc, selenium and biotin. I was really happy to see that the fish oil capsules were not made from pork or beef gelatine like the majority of them are. It does include fish gelatine though so vegetarians and vegans may need to be wary of this.
Not only was this great for my skin but also my hair and nails too. My eyebrows grew back quite quickly from a recent nightmare with my brows (over threading). My skin was looking radiant, I had no breakouts whilst taking these supplements and my scars were healing a lot quicker. The blister packs ran for a course of 28 days and for those 28 days my skin was glowing! The Skin Vitality 2 is highly recommended by the Natural Health International Beauty Awards 2016 and I 100% see why. It retails for £38 which is £1.36 a day. However keep in mind that this is 4 different supplements you are getting.
Skin Vit C
I felt that the Skin Vit C really helped my hyper-pimentation fade. We often consider what ingredients and products we can apply topically to the skin to improve it when there are so many vitamins and minerals that we don’t get enough of from our daily diet which can also really help improve the overall condition and appearance. Vitamin C helps the formation of collagen which we need to help our skin function normally. It is also a antioxidant so it helps fight off free radicals and keep up the immune system. This one is suitable for vegans and vegetarians and none of their products are tested on animals. I never really considered the power of taking vitamin C internally for hyper-pigmentation but since adding it to my diet, it has really helped fade my hyper pigmentation faster.
I only had to take this once a day with meals so it was easy to remember. I usually took it along side the Skin Vitality 2 blister packs. This retails for £16 for 60 tablets which will last you for 2 months.
Skin Accumax was one I struggled with because you had to take it twice a day. I often took it only once a day especially when I was going through the 28 day course of blister strips. Terrible I know. Skin Accumax is a unique formula made from skin ingredient DIM (a highly active plant compound) as well as other skin perfecting ingredients. It contains a high level of active ingredients without the use of harsh chemicals. Advanced Nutrition Programme are so confident in this formula that they offer a no quibble money back guarantee on this product if you find that it hasn’t transformed your skin. This is wheat, gluten and dairy-free, and is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
It retails for £39.95 for 60 capsules which should last for 30 days which is pretty pricey. I cannot really comment on this one as strongly as the Skin Vit C and the Skin Vitality 2 as I have not been sticking to it as strictly. However the claims to this seem to be pretty good so it might be worth having a look at those on their website before purchasing.
The only downside I would say is that they can be pricey compared to other supplements. Before trying these I was kind of mixing and matching several supplements not knowing if these are really what I need. These are specifically put together in a programme for you so you don’t need to think about which singular supplements to purchase. However you can also get £10 off your first order when you resister for VIP offers, news and nutrition trips. Also they smell. Not really a smell that you want to digest but I look past this in the name of good skin!
My final thoughts
Overall I really loved the results I got from the Advanced Nutrition Programme and would advise trying them out to improve the health of your skin and general wellbeing. It did seem like a lot of tablets to consume at dinner time and I did look like a crazy person having 6 tablets after dinner. They were completely worth it though. It’s all well and good to consider the skincare and makeup we apply topically to our skin to make us look and feel good but taking care of our skin from the inside is equally if not more important. Since I’ve stopped using the Advanced Nutrition Programme supplements, my skin has not looked as good so I will definitely be purchasing more to continue taking care of my skin from the inside.
