Hi guys. So today I’m going to share with you what highlight I’ve been using to get that glowy sheen. I’ve had quite a few people asking me what highlight I’ve been using on a daily basis. For daily use I like to use something that gives a sheen rather than a ‘bam- in-your- face, see it from space highlight’.
The RMS Beauty highlights are very popular. The Living Luminzer is a cult fav and now RMS have brought out the rose gold toned Master Mixer. However I wanted something that would pop more and pull a little more gold/champagne toned to compliment my skin. I’ve opted for the RMS eye polish in Lunar.
Since I purchased this stuff I haven’t put it down, it’s been so good to me in the warmer months. Because it’s a cream product it doesn’t cake when my makeup is trying to sweat off my face.
I apply it with my fingers and it leaves the most amazing seamless and natural finish. At the same time, it’s still like “Damn girl you’re highlight be poppin”. If I want more of a statement on a night out or I usually top it off with Jane Iredale 24kt Gold Dust in Gold for that extra va va voom.
The consistency of the RMS Eye Polish is really creamy. It’s made from coconut oil so it does melt into the skin nicely leaving you with a naturally dewy finish. Using my fingers I apply it to the highpoints of my cheeks, brow bone, inner corner of my eye, tip of the nose and cupids bow.
Of course because this is an eye polish you can use it on your eyes too so it’s a really versatile product. It also lasts for ages because a little goes a long way.
The RMS Eye Polish comes in a frosted glass pot as does the rest of the RMS makeup range. It ranges for £19 which ain’t cheap but it’s a lot cheaper than the RMS Living Luminzer and Master Mixer which retail for £30. You can currently get 10% off any of the RMS Eye Polishes on Flourish Beauty if you use the code BIRTHDAY.
In my opinion I think the eye polish works better than that Living Luminizer and Master Mixer in the sense that it gives off a stronger highlight. It also pulls slightly warmer than the Living Luminzer which gives off a more silvery highlight. Lunar is really the perfect name for the product because it looks like moonlight beaming off your face.
Overall in my opinion if you’re looking for a nice wet looking dewey highlight that makes it look like you sweat out glamour, skip the Living Luminizer and go straight to the RMS Eye Polishes. I’m obsessed!
