Hi guys. Today I’ve got a review of the Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes.
Generally I try to stay away from wipes because most are full of nasty toxins, most are not biodegradable and therefore are bad for the environment.
Even when you choose natural wipes, some are still not biodegradable even though the ingredients might be good just like the infamous Water Wipes for babies.
Instead I prefer oil cleansing first to remove my makeup and using a warm flannel and then going in with cleanser. However when travelling I appreciate the convenience of using wet wipes.
How eco-friendly are the Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes?
I was not surprised to find that Pacifica made their wipes biodegradable which definitely gets a thumbs up from me. I’m sure we are all aware of how much crap ends up in the oceans and is killing our marine life and one of the biggest offenders is wet wipes so I love that these are biodegradable.
I purchased the Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes from Love Lula. It cost me £4.99 for 30 wipes which is not cost effective at all.
This is why I reserve these for travel only because they are so expensive.

How effective is it?
I took these with me on a weekend trip away and they were really effective in removing my makeup before going in with a cleanser. They were even great at removing my mascara but keep in mind that my mascara was not waterproof.
Although these are effective in removing most makeup, because they don’t use chemical solvents, I don’t know how effective they will be in removing waterproof makeup.
They were also gentle on my skin so I didn’t have to rub on my skin and be harsh with it to remove foundation. Each wipe retained is moisture well so there was enough moisture to remove my makeup.
They leave your skin feeling really refreshed and clean (although I’d always go in with a facial cleanser after because a wipe just isn’t good enough to remove your makeup).
I love the Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes for travel. They are costly which is a con but for convenience whilst travelling I’d make that sacrifice. I also don’t feel terrible about using them because they are biodegradable.
